This is a board-type filter made by layering multiple sheets of non-woven fabric and applying heat press in a special manufacturing process. It has several times the strength compared to conventional non-woven fabric filters, plastic sintered filters, and polyurethane foam. It can be used as reinforcement for high-performance air filters and can also be used alone in high-viscosity fluids and high-pressure environments without losing its shape. Additionally, the adhesive structure between the fibers results in a high porosity, which helps to reduce pressure loss.
